I am 43. I start studying 3D sculpture about 25 years ago, with wood, stone and clay. Then I discover origami in 83 from a Japanese friend living in Paris. It was a shock !

I stopped every other materials, and buyedevery Japanese origami books I could find in Paris from Kawai, Yoshizawa, Kasahara and Kawamura. (French books doesn't exist at this time). My principal interest is "REAL 3D" models.

By REAL, I mean models CONCEPT and REALISE in 3D, work quite different from flat models put in volume at the end of the process-folding.

I first create complexe animals in box-pleating, like hedgehog or turtle. I am more interested today in ECONOMY. By this, I mean economy of number of creases, and economy of "loosed paper" (part of initial square which could not be seen in the final model). Many folders think my work is not origami. But in fact, every fold I realize in my models is like traditional ones, except the fact that many creases are curved or not really flattern.

This allow me to produce 3D and ALIVE models (I expect so)...
